ELA 10- 2019 2020

Page history last edited by Mary Grierson 4 years, 1 month ago

Welcome back from March Break! I hope everyone had time to do some things that make them smile. Below is the calendar for MARCH, 2020. As always, it has to remain flexible in case of weather issues.

NEW CALENDAR BELOW as of March 12-

All handouts will be provided in class, and are linked here (not all at once so stay tuned for more!) for you to look at in case you are absent. The actual Romeo and Juliet playbook remains in the classroom as we have a class set only.  Please remember that attendance is important- this is not an online course! When you are absent, please check this wiki and with your teacher upon your return.

UPDATED CALENDAR!! as of March 12-

WELCOME BACK! Here's our schedule for the next four weeks.

IN THE EVENT OF ANY WEATHER ISSUES, please move everything ahead (to the next school day).

Please note that not all ELA 10 fees of $15 have been paid. Please do so at the office in cash or online. We need to pay for the books we purchased for your book club

FEBRUARY 7- SNOW DAY- this means your first piece should be completed on February 10, as explained in class on February 6. Be ready to get approval and begin your second piece.

The calendar is posted in the class- feel free to take a picture or copy it down. Links to handouts and samples of specific writing pieces will follow. Samples are also available in our room.

Remember to keep to the schedule timeline. You may require more time on your own to complete the 3 writing pieces. Also, please show me your progress regularly- I want to give on-going feedback so that you can have the best possible writing pieces! I am available for a prearranged before school, lunch, or after school feedback session- just talk with me so we can get together at a mutually convenient time. I am looking forward to reading/viewing your work!! I am also prepared to print any work you need to have printed. You can email your work (mary.grierson@nbed.nb.ca) or bring it on a USB stick. You must have a hard copy to hand in.
